Today has been a werid and boring day. I am stuck at home, there are protesters in seattle about 10 miles north of me, there were thunderstorms when I woke up, but everything stays the same for tech. And as I metioned in my last pst, we had bought a house that is closing on the 22nd of june. So yeah, its gonna too be south of were I live. And that is all there is to say.
Still waiting for my switch…
I am having been waiting since may 5 (2020) and I still have not got my switch back from repairs. Now I am having somebody else who lives in my house do it so this not uisng a repair shop which they are closed. Beacuse of the social distancing. Ever since this, I have got my new sd card slot, the new (Samsung) 512 GB microSD Card, A bluetooth transmitter for my switch to use my (2019) Samsung Galaxy Buds (I heard the Galaxy Buds has some lag on amazon reviews, since it does not have aptX, but I am fine with bluetooth lag, I have a samsung (Android 9 One UI 1.1) device so I have exprinced low-lag on the buds btw.), and a Pro Controller. I also got AC NH, and Smash (DItgal Copies that I redeemed on the nintendo website) after this happend. I am waiting for the repair to be done, but for now, I will just play some mobile games. I also have a Wii U, New 3DS XL, (2) Wii’s, an old PS2 in the garage, an N64 in the gragage. But no xboxes or playstaions, maybe an OG Xbox, but i dont think thats there anymore since we renctly bought a new house and we are in the procces of moving there. The person who is doing the repair has the screwdrivers but its on their to-do list right now, the backplate of the switch has to be removed and the old slot removed the melt made the card stuck in the slot. Than the new slot gets put in and the backplate goes back on. An easy task.
My Time with my “Smart Room”
My time with my smart room has been nice. This is the only room in this house that is smart since nobody else wants it this way. In my room, I have Philps Hue White BT without a bridge. I have one paired in the google home app, but the rest I cant get to pair. In the room, I have a Lenovo Smart Clock, and 5 TP-Link Kasa Smart Outlets. 1, Table Lamp, 2 Desk Lamp, 3 my Dell Optiplex 745, a PC from 2007 that I installed Linux Mint, I am planning to expand storage with an SSD and put in more ram at some point. It has an Intel Cre 2 Duo so should work Linux Mint 20 since its 64-Bit Only. 4, My Fan, 5, my bed headboard lamp. It’s nice being able to use a single voice command when I Get Here, Leave, Wake Up, Go to bed and have everything done for me by a robot. The only problems I have with it is the LightSwitch + Smart Light Bulb Conflict, and the internet being down, though I can use the Philps Hue BT app. and the buttons on the smart outlets, though they should still work on the app when on the local network. I have been using smart things for basic automation, IFTTT, and I am planning on using the upcoming Google Home routines being triggered by smart home devices. We might get a nest video doorbell, package detection will be nice. Google Said: Were excited to announce that your Google Nest Hello video doorbell can now learn to detect packages left in its view and send you notifications when a package is delivered or retrieved. We might also get a smart camera system like alro or nest.

My Nintendo Switch Melted
I was not going to write an article today and wait for the weekend, but Something happened. I woke up, went back to bed and got up again and went to the living room and plugged in my switch. Since I did not charge it last night. After A few minutes. My switch got to 74% then I went to play minecraft and noticed I had to redownload it. All of my save data was still there. Then I finshed playing and went to splatoon and had to redownload it. I thought they archived and was going to turn off auto archive, and it said MicroSD not Insterted. I checked it. The blinds were closed so it was dark. So I thought the MicroSD came out. It was werid beacuse it uaslly makes you restart the console. When I went to the kitchen were there was light I noticed the microsd melted. I have more ditgal games than physical games. I only have 2 Pisychal games BTW. So I lost a good amount of games. Once I get a New MicroSD (And a new MicroSD Card Slot if needed), I will have to redownload every game I own. I will have my Switch looked at later today.

That is about everything we know of right now. If they talk about more in the May 2020 Newsletter, I will make an update. I use linux mint as my daily driver desktop os, so I will review Linux Mint 20 in June when it comes out. And I update the OS. Linux mint has very good wallpapers, so I am looking frowad to the new wallpapers. Hopefully, nothing gets delayed due to COVID-19. You can test the new desktop colors and probaily even Warpinator on Linux Mint 19. LMDE 4 has it already. I think I will wait. I will update to beta when we can. I did it before and there is no problem for me to run it on my daily driver.

Why i hate leaks:
I just hate leaks beacuse they spoil everything. I dont want to know what a phone looks like until the event. I just hope its like the Galaxy S8 where the leaks had an S7 Edge like device, but at Galaxy Unpacked 2017, it was a whole new desgin, and Samsung even leaked the Galaxy Fold 2, or whatever its called. I just hate leaks and their is no point to them.
